I took advantage of Fedex's offer for new account holders to ship something to Sweden at a good discount, in an attempt to avoid the current/recent issues with the Swedish postal service (there's a thread about that somewhere).
They opened the account with few checks and let me send the shipment without taking any payment.
I sent it DDP to make it easier for the receiver, so there will be Swedish import VAT to pay.
How long does it take for Fedex to bill me for the shipment and for the tax due? I've tried asking them direct but no answer so far...
I know what the Swedish VAT should be, but I need certainty on that and any other fees, before I can issue an invoice to the customer. There's nothing on the commercial invoice generated by Fedex, other than duties and taxes paid by exporter.
