How does a Facebook account work?

- I want to use Facebook for business, namely using Facebook ads to send people to my own website to buy products.

1. Do I have to have an account for a certain time before I can use Facebook adverts?

2. Do I sign up for a personal account, a business account?

3. Do I sign up using my name, or the business name.

4. What are pages? Are they the same as posts? Or are pages like separate websites?

Example, we sign up to Facebook with our name. Then make 'pages' for each business.
swift cleaning
green gardens
Mikes Motors
Then make many posts on each page? (The page is the business website if you like)

So the customer does not see your name you signed up with (central account), only the page (which shows the actual business) and posts on that page?

5. If (settings General) you can give visitors to the page permission to publish posts, does this mean they can make (new posts) on the page, or just leave 'comments' on your posts?

Thank you for any help.

Thank you for your reply.

From my original questions.
3.
A Is my name written at the top of page?
B. Note (I only want the visitor to see a title of my business) and only use the business page for that particular business.

4.
A. Can the user see other pages?
B. Or only the one they are on?
D. Do they have navigation for example url or button etc, to leave a page to go to other pages?

5. So the vistor can.
A. make posts
or
B. Only comment on my posts

If you use a trading name then you should disclose your own name on all websites and business correspondence.

4. A Facebook page is just another web page. The person viewing it can move to any other web page they wish.

5. As far as I am aware they can only comment on your posts.
