I am just wondering what SEO researchers do in certain situations when you come to a point where you have to get into the mind of the general searcher. For example say you wanted to set up a page of selling garment swing tags that shop owners will put inside their stock to add price, size etc. Now obviously what I technically call them as "swing tickets" in the industry most general public will not know them as that and so is not a good primary keyword to target. The word "clothing labels" has a generally high search rate. but there could be a few meanings for "clothing labels" it could mean the washing label instructions or it could even mean garment swing tags but people don't really know what to call them so they may search "clothing labels" how would you take a guestimate as to what percentage of people will think of the item I would sell in this situation.
Is this a common occurrence, is it best to go for the best searched term but could mean a couple of products or do you go for the more targeted term with much less searches literally almost pointless to even bother targeting.
