I have few tech ideas and looking for few opportunities where I could invest my time & money to get it right.

I have researched in my ideas haven't seem much work been done.

Big question is how do you evaluate you idea if that is worth investing your time. Also calling all people who want to start something and looking for partner in terms of developing new business we can discuss.

Please advice.

I've just started a 2nd business. Initially, I was looking for a partner, not for the investment, as I was fully funded, but because I wanted someone to bounce ideas off, and for us to encourage each other.

After a while of testing people, I changed my mind, and wanted it to be 100% mine, as a partner will usually end up having a different opinion to me. :)

I looked at everything negatively. So I start from the standpoint of anything not working and then try to determine what chance it *does* have of working.

I tend to look at the potential market first and work back from there. How big is it (bigger is not necessarily better)? Is it clearly defined? Are people spending money in this market etc. etc.

In terms of partners I would look for someone who has different skills to me, is financially independent; they need to sustain themselves and not cripple the business in the early days by wanting cash. Do not start a partnership with friend and especially not a wife/husband/partner....ever.

Good luck!
