How do I sell a business idea?

Hi,

I guess there are lots of people who think they have a great business idea, but I really do feel that I have an idea for a spirit based brand and that has great provenance to it. However, I don't know how to distill or where and how to start in getting the idea off of the ground. In fact, I am not sure that I even want to attempt it myself.

Nevertheless, I feel it would be a shame for my idea to never see the light of day. Consequently, I was wondering if there is a way and if so, how to go about offering my idea to someone who might be able to do justice to it in return for royalties should it become a success.

Any advice, would be appreciated?

A plan is only any good when the thinker has the ability to take it forward

By the sounds of it you have not even done any basic research into how its made and have no go but expect someone to pay you to take a vague idea forward

Nope, I have done all of the research, just need to be vague on here without having to go down the route of NDA's. Just looking for some friendly help of a point in the right direction

Talk to some industry experts - with appropriate NDA and purchase of their time. They can tell you if its feasible. Could be its been tried and failed or could be that what you think works does not in practice.
Then you could try approaching the various producers of that type of product. Could still end up with no interest in it.
