Hi this may seem like a random question but i can assure you its relevant. I am starting a business which offers discounts on tours around the world. As i will be advertising the tours myself i realised it cant be that much different from what groupon does (offering customers discount on an already existing product or service) but im struggling to create the system in which this can be achieved. I know groupon does a code which, when dining for instance, you give to the restaurant when you get the bill but i fear that if i use this same system my connections who provide tours could take my client information ad basically eleviate the middleman. I dont know if this makes any sense toanyone out there butadvisewould be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time

Whenever I have bought I have had to give my name either to make an appointment or to get delivery of the goods. But then the vouchers have always been from the end supplier and not a middle man.

What you are describing is similar to laterooms.com. If the final booking is with you then don't worry. I am sure that laterooms do not worry that on a second visit the clients may go direct to the hotel. That's just the way it is.

To keep your customers you need to be building relationships and giving service they appreciate.
How do you get the discounts? Can you be sure they are discounted against what the person could get going directly?

Thank you for your response. I get the discounts by being in a unique position to source customers and have negotiated discounts across all of the said services already. Im just in the process of putting the system into place and was wondering how companies such as Wowchers passcode worked. Im looking into laterooms.com now. Thanks for your help.
