How can I sell 3d services remotely?

Hello.
My name is Daniel, I'm CEO in architectural 3d visualization studio "Ravelin3D". We perform architectural 3D visualization and create any kind of 3D content for real estate advertising and presentation purposes.

My question is: "How can I find clients on the world-wide market?"
We have strong sales team in Russia, 2 sale offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg, all our clients already now us. The main method that we use is active sales. We call the potential client, set up a meeting, present our services, find out their need and suggest a solve. That's all, simple but working very good.

But I can't meet the clients worldwide, it's hard and we don't have such budgets. But I already have some clients in USA, UAE, Australia, because we provide very good quality for reason prices. So, I come to the conclusion, that my services are demandable.

The only question - how can I adjust the flow of orders, how to sell to large clients remotely? What channels can I use to sell my services world-wide?

My clients are:
· Construction companies
· Real estate developers and investment companies
· Marketing agencies
· Architectural bureau
Our services would interest companies that build, sell, present, advertise, market real property or look for investors. In other words, all the companies who want a piece of real property (a house, residential development, shopping mall, business center, country house, gated community, stadium) to be made into a 3d model and beautifully presented.

I am very grateful for ideas and tips.
Thank you.

    Hi Daniel

Your starting point should be to develop a marketing strategy which helps you identify which countries are likely to be most profitable and the best approaches/communications channels to use to reach your potential clients.

It may be worth you working with a marketing agency say in the top three countries you want to break into who will have localised knowledge on what works best in their marketplace.

What commission do you want to pay?

you mean comission for the lead generation? I'm paying 25% of the contact budget to my partners, that give me the project.

Thank you, I guess you right. I should start from the strategy. I think to start from the USA market, because most of the incoming customers we from the states. They found me themselves.

Ok, I'm focused on the USA market. There are a lot of real estates developers, that are interesting in my services. So, what is next? What channel shall I use on this market?

The channels you will use will depend on the decision makers you want to reach and which sectors you are targeting.

As I said you could commission a U.S. Marketing Agency who have experience of promoting the services you want to offer.

Or if you have the expertise within your agency. You can carry out your own market research that will identify the best approach to take, channels to use and from that you can develop a marketing plan.

You should also refine your target list. Look at your current clients and find commonalities: How big are they? How big where the developments you rendered for them? (if that is the right term). Why they use you? (Don't guess, know) That and other information will allow you to focus your efforts more on the individual businesses that are most likely to buy from you.

You should then decide on your process. Are you going to get people on the ground there to sell for you? Or are you going to do it yourselves? Can what you are already doing in other countries be replicated easily in America, or do you need to re-invent the wheel?

It may also be worth talking to UKTI about exporting.

The international market of everything is a tough cookie.
Generally the only way to reel in interested clients from all over the world is through the web. You need to design and develop a good and functional website, in which to publish 3D, computer graphics, architecture and construction content.
Then setup a marketing strategy to spread that same content to popular platforms and target your client profile.
Eventually, your content and outreach should start gaining exposure and traffic to your website as well as rank for keywords related to your business, so online searchers can find you through Google, Bing, etc.
This however only happens two ways - you have a in-house team to lead this content marketing campaign, or you hire an agency to do things for you. Both however require a sturdy budget.

A company I used to work for sometimes required additional freelance 3D visualisers (for events/trade shows). We found them through Linkedin, or even hired based on a portfolio PDF sent in a unsolicited email. Perhaps google some companies you would like to work with and reach out to them via Linkedin and by email. Highlight the time zone benefits - you work while they sleep. They brief you one day and wake up to the visuals the next morning. Amendments done overnight too. It's easy to work via Skype globally.

Might it also be worth your while offering one limited service on sites such as Fiverr or People Per Hour? For example 'I will visualize one room and provide one low-res and one high res render for $xxx). I can supply additional perspectives of the same room for $xxx. You wouldn't get the high budget, commercial projects you are used to on these sites, but you might build up some useful contacts in each country and it could be something to do during the quiet times. Also, don't be afraid to charge a higher rate than others - many buyers feel re-assured by a realistic fee and avoid suspiciously low quotes.
