Paid campaigns on Facebook might work for you. You can create an ad and then show it to certain demographics. Where they live, interests etc. Might be worth exploring.

SEO and social would be your best bet, especially if you have a low or no marketing budget. You also need to make sure your site is easy to understand and use as well to get the conversions

Use your past happy customers.

Develop testimonials that are focused around your clients, instead of around you.I call them 'storyteller testimonials'. Give your past customers the opportunity to tell their story, concerning their interaction with your company.

If you can post a piece of content that really shows the client in a great light, complete with a couple of relevant images, they will share it with their social media connections.

I recently did this with one of my clients. She got 73 visitors to the site from one testimonial. I did one before on my own site, and got 261 visitors.I am now in the process of refining the strategy to use more often.

The thing is that mass-media marketing strategies don't fit the personal nature of the web so well.

Today we are networks of individuals having 'conversations', so you want to try and find a way to get your site into their conversations. By highlighting the client, instead of how brilliant you are, they are more likely to share it with their personal groups.

Here's a short article on the difference between mass-media and conversation marketing, I can't post the link but the extension is a UK one and the site is Working The Web, obviously no spaces.
