I think it's looking okay too, but would just add a couple of observations:

Having used a similar service last year, I don't think that the site shouts out enough about how goods are sorted for recycling/tipping etc, and I also don't think that you shout enough about being a licensed waste carrier. To access both bits of information you need to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the home page. if I were you, I would have a category heading in the main menu bar shouting about these two points, which people will see straight away.

I would also add a strap line to your logo, shouting about your ethical credentials.

One other small point is that if I click on house clearance services, there is no option to select house clearance from the drop down menu. Maybe you should consider changing the word house to domestic and then add the house clearance services into the menu. Not sure if that would be SEO friendly though.

Going to be the voice of doom and gloom here....

Almost all your visitors are likely to be using a phone to look for your services. Which means the layout needs to optimised for small screens - not desktop.

At the top of the homepage I see Bing UET - no idea what that is.

Below the phone number are some times. Are there when you work or when you answer the phone. If someone called you at 6.10 on a Friday desperate to get property cleared no matter the cost that evening would you torn them down? Drop the times and see what happens.

Why ask 'Need a house clearance'? That's the only reason anyone would be on the site so it has little value.

You have this postcode box to get a quote but all this does is take me to another form. Much better to have a simple call back form on the page where you contact the client and talk about the job.

You then have a list of services most of which are nothing to do with house clearance. Which is another reason not to have the words at the top of the page.

The services pages are pretty good. Except where are all the pages showing us what you did today? Everyday you go out in the van, take pictures and report back what you did, where you did it, how you did it, what went well and what didn't. Post daily with the right categorisation and ranking will shoot up.

But get rid of all those location pages. They are junk. And google will think they are junk. The company that built the site need a good kick up the backside. Their promise of ranking was a lie and you know it too. If they were any good you wouldn't be spending money on Google Ads.

Great website. I like most of the content you've incorporated on your new site, and the images you have used.

    Your site looks very trustworthy.

For me, the major changes would be taking out the 'Where We Work' subpages. I'd like to see an interactive map of the locations you cover. I would replace this page with the recycling element of your service. I'd like to see a video on this page as well.

Like others have said, I would like to see the recycling more emphasised on the homepage as it's not completely obvious at first glance.

    Nice website, a few comments:

    1) There's a gap above the header on desktop and mobile (says BING UET) and it stays on scroll.

    2) The website header disappears on the Get a Quote Page.

    3) Home page hero copy, as others have mentioned, the person is on your website to get information about clearance, so the copy "Need a house clearance service? Enter your postcode to get a free quote. Get a quote now" is not selling them that service, it's just stating what services you have.

    4) On mobile the WhatsApp call button is taking up a lot of space as well as covering your social media buttons in the footer, can you change the icon to something smaller for mobile only?

    5) I would add more internal links and make navigation slightly easier.

    6) Considering you're a service industry, reviews make or break you and it would be wise to draw attention to them in the website design, it's too easy to scroll past them at the moment.

    7) The location pages I understand are there for SEO reasons, be very careful of duplicate content as google will simply not rank them and the last algorithm update google has put those type of pages in their sights and are being treated as spam.

    All the best :)

I think the recycling/re-use element should be used as your USP.

Yes you can make the changes to your website, but your business is just the same as the rest. Another plain company that specialises in clearances.

Marketing yourself as a clearance company that ensures all items are used to help others or will be recycled will stand out more than just house and commercial clearances
