With the amount of traffic it receives and almost cult status I am not suprised at its price at all.... think there are few people in the 16-30s market that wont have heard of it.

Agree with dan, apart from hosting and intial set up this is nigh on the perfect business using visitors humour/ego/vanity while actually delivering nothing of value.....

Well, Google has no competitors, and there is no way of protecting what they do, and Microsoft is similar. Start the business, make loads of dosh, and sell out to one of your new competitors...

I think you'll find not only do they protect what they do. In order to duplicate what they do, it would take a considerable amount of dosh.
