Hosting Help Needed

Im using lycos at the moment and things are not going to well.

I bought my domain name and email accounts through abcreg over a year ago and my webdesigner then hosted the site through lycos.

Im now finding that some of my emails are not coming through and some im sending are not being received.

I would like to change the whole package of who i host with but im not sure how to do this.

Can anyone help?

You'll need your access details username/passwords to access your current hosting provider and/or the source code for your website. Also access details for abcreg, so the domain can be transferred if required.

In addition you'll need to note down any services in particular your website uses, eg PHP, databases, SSL certificates etc or any other special requirements and then find a hosting company that can provide all this for you.

If you have FTP access hosts can grab all the files of the server, This is as technical as I can go.

You can have a look at our linux hosting packages at http://www.eukhost.com/cpanel-web-hosting.php. You can access your emails via webmail which we offer with our hosting packages.

i use a company called kxhost for all my hosting needs, i have several sites on there servers and never had a problem and with some great prices i havent been able to find any better.

Bit late here...sorry. I use Fasthosts and they are doing my head in at the moment (security incident aside !). Who did you go for in the end ? and would you recommend them ?
