I have just rebuilt one of our websites aquaticimpact.co.uk
Its not optimised yet but the layout is just about there.
I would say that from looking at your site it reminds me of the first websites I built when I was 14. Thats not supposed to be patronising regards the age I was but I think the similarity is that there is vision without any of the required disciplines to implement it!
For example the nav bar to the left, well done on not using standard FP rollover button but what you have ended up with needs a bit of work...
1)the rollover images do not preload, you need to use the pre load img function so that when the mouse rolls over the images they sway instantly.
2)The effect is inverted, when I roll over a button I expect it to go down, not pop out.
3)Go back into PhotoShop and redo the button graphics, the text is jagged and since its an image not a font anymore you may as well have it as smooth as possible.
Also completley ditch the green background in the main area of the website. The left, corner and top areas are fine but colourder backgrounds in the main content area demonstrate stupidity on a near clinical level
Finally improve presentaion all round and do some proper, hard thinking about getting a really good logo sorted. If you want people to trust you with their computers the initial impression needs to be one of rock solid dependability, security and established presence within the industry.
PS pay for the live chat applet, its not much and no corporate web site should have 'FREE chat by Volusion' on display.
I'll come back and criticise the other stuff once you have ammended the above
