Holiday Entitlement Part Time

Hi

If I was to employ someone to work for me 1 hour a day for 5 days a week does that mean they are entitled to the same amount of holiday as a person working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week?

They would be entitled to 5 days x 5.6 weeks x 1 hour so = 28 hours holiday

Compared to 5 x 5.6 x 8 = 224 hours

how about when someone works 2 days per week x 8 hours?

I'm very new to this but what about for 5 days, 20 hours per week? The company allocation is 27 days.

The 27 days, is that including bank holidays? If so then it is below the statutory minimum entitlement!

What is a normal full time equivalent? 40 hours over 5 days?

27 plus bank holidays and yes normal is 40

It would be exactly the same. 35 days but at 4 hours a day rather than 8!
