It is, as the name suggests, very basic, and not particularly intuitive. Brightpay is highly regarded and, for a single payroll up to three employees, is £49 per annum.

For larger payrolls, both Moneysoft and Brightpay offer competitive products, both equally well regarded, and an order of magnitude more functional than BPT.

Capium is better than the basic tools, produces payslips, and is free for up to 3 employees.
