Hidden copyright in Word?

We have a MS Word document that we wrote and is owned by us. I have seen it with our name taken off it within the text, header, footer etc.

The properties also don't show our details.

It is there a hidden tracker on Word documents that could tell me what changes have been made?

Impossible if they have copied and pasted the content into a new Word doc right? But if they have just edited the same file. Hmmm

Any help would be very much appreciated.

In word check this:


Step1:

If you are using Word 2010 / 2013: Click Filetab > click Options

If you are using Word 2007: Click Officeicon > click Word Options

Step 2: check Hidden text to show hidden text in document, and uncheck to hide them. Check or uncheck Show all formatting marks
