Hi to all in the North West!

I've got a confession... I'm actually a Devonshire lass! But Bury is now my home and the home of my business where we do software, web and mobile app development.

I used to do jobs where I did a little bit of everything, now I have my own business I still do a little bit of everything. I'm sure there's some irony in there somewhere!

When I'm not working, I'm looking after four mad guinea pigs or catching up on my postgraduate studies.

Are you all having a good week? What are my fellow North West folks up to? It's a bit rainy here but I'm getting excited about Christmas and festive events coming up soon.

Sadly, it isn't... this is the speed that half of Bury work at... Ramsbottom is the worst place ever for their laid back approach and "whenever" kind of reply for work...

In fact... I think it maybe catching!

EDIT: A fine example for you...

Local Charity gets robbed... quote goes in to re-secure the property, change locks, replace this that and the other, upgrade everything to a better product than what was already in place... 6 weeks later we get the order?!

Baring in mind, this place has been left vulnerable all this time...

Hi Michelle, welcome to the board (I'm pretty new myself here too).

I'm from Rossendale, therefore I'm familiar with most of the North West too. I've frequently travelled to Manchester, Chesire, Preston and every place in between, including Bury.

Seems there's a trend going, as the company I'm working on also specialises first in Web/Software Development. We currently have two projects in the pipeline which I'm excited about.
