Hi from Berry

Hi, just thought I'd introduce myself to everyone on here, I'm Berry Burgess, Managing Director of Armadillo Creative based in North Shields in Geordieland. I started as a junior artist in a Newcastle ad agency at the same time 10cc and the Eagles were popular in the advertising land of B.C. Before Computers. Times have changed since those days and after 30 years as a Creative Director with North East Ad agencies, it was time to practice what I always preached. I set up Armadillo a a full service marketing agency founded by myself and fellow designer Lee Skinner in 2005. We offer a variety of strategic communication solutions to a wide variety of clients both large and small both regionally and nationally. We understand that it is not just great ideas that are important, but great communication that delivers effective result for our clients, large and small, time and time again. Across the creative spectrum we feel help our clients engage people, communicate their business effectively, and most importantly get a return on their investment, from website, e-marketing, SEO or a press campaign - It's not what you spend but what you get that counts. I have over 30 years top line knowledge sitting in the back of my cranium. I always say what I see and what you see is what you get. I'm going to be posting some various articles I have wrote on marketing, brand, web etc that may be of use to forum members to help them in the current climate.

Hi Berry,

A warm welcome from a noob (only at this forum)

"So next time you’re pass through your office and you hear a phone unanswered for a dozen or so rings, think what message or signal that has left to the person on the other end? Next time you go to a meeting, look at the other person’s shoes, are they clean? Are they polished? If they are not, what does that say about the person and the company he represents. If he can’t take care of a small detail like that will he care as much for your business?"
A quote from your article ofcourse.

I totally loved it, straight forward, easy to understand for everyone, and completely useful.

Looking froward to read more of your business advice.

Best wishes,

Raza
