My name is Darrell, and I am passionate about all things tech - including all aspects of desktop, server, and network maintenance, web design, web hosting, and cloud services.

I am an avid online computer gamer with way too many thousands of online hours in various games, including World of Warcraft, Battlefield series, Dota 2, and Call of Duty. Other games that I particularly enjoy are the Mass Effect & Dragon Age series.

I enjoy mixing music, binge-watching series on Netflix, learning various tech-things, and taking long drives in the countryside on the weekends.

I have recently started an IT business again, having run one in South Africa for 15 years. I recently quit my job at Coty, and I am looking forward to the challenges of building a business up again.

Hi, @jazperson - yeah, I've also moved away from the online gaming thing beyond a few games of Dota 2 once in a while when I need some downtime.

Unfortunately, to be any good at WOW you need to grind endlessly & I find that I would rather spend that time getting my business running the way I want it.

I also need a new upgrade on my PC since I am running an i5-3570 with a GTX 660 Ti - very long in the tooth, but handles Dota 2 wonderfully.

Looking at a Ryzen 7 2700X now - seems to be the best value on the market at the moment, without the heavy Intel premium.
