I mainly set up the site as a 'shop window' for my ebay items and some hints and tips but as i included a competition and loquax is promoting it i thought it only fair to include a link to loquax on the site - and yes
i am affiliate marketing too although i haven't checked yet if anyones clicked it ? my main aim was to get more people looking at my ebay items for sale.
thanks for looking

any tips?

Hi Lisa and welcome! :)

Have you thought of setting up a (separate) site about gardening with tips and other useful info? Might be a good way to promote your main business and could also generate some extra income through affiliate programs - for example Affiliate Future offers programs from Suttons Seeds; Ferndale Lodge; Garden Cut; Gardening Express; Fence Store; Taylors Garden Buildings and Shedstore amongst others. You could also add adsense ads - should at least bring in enough revenue to pay for web hosting.

I see you are using the ebay.co.uk affiliate program via Commission Junction - they (Commission Junction) also run the gardening programs for Greenfingers and crocus.co.uk.

Hi Lisa,

Have you thought about adding video to you site and ebay listings. You can add streaming video of you items very very easily as many times as you like for under £6/month.

Let me know if you'd like more info.

Best rgds,

Henry Baker.
