Hi all -

Need some help if possible please.

My company has been dormant since it's foundation (Jan 2018). No trading has been done. In fact we're so dormant that we don't even have a business bank account as of yet.
The company was pretty much set-up in preparation to begin business, but due to other commitments haven't been able to get the ball rolling.

Literally have zero assets, zero expenditure, zero trading done so wan't to know how best to fill it out.

What should I put for the following?

- date of balance sheet (this appears to be default to the 31/01/2019 - which I assume is the end of the first accounting year?)
- net assets
- number of shares
- value of each share
- current period

Please let me know if you have any questions, any help is greatly appreciated.

The date of the balance sheet will be the financial year end set by Companies House unless you change it.

Net assets will be the value of the unpaid shares owed to the company - typically this will be one ordinary £1 share ie £1 but check the documents you have from when the company was formed if you dont know.

The number and value of shares will again be in the documents you had when the company was set up or you can search online on the Companies House website for the details.

The current period will be as shown on the Companies House website ie from the date of incorporation to 31/1/19.
