Help with naming a new startup !!!!

Hello Guys

I'm starting with an online business, selling fabrics, lamps, canvas prints, cushions, curtains, carpets, and expanding to printed garments in a year time. However, i cant figure out any name for the business!
The name doesnt need to be very related to fabrics,as i'll be expanding to selling wide range of products in the near future.

I feel like the name should be related to arts, colours, comfort, design, etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Great to hear you are taking the plunge.

From a purely (geeky website) perspective I would as suggest you follow the main part of the name by the word 'Furnishings'.

That way, you will be more search-friendly with Google.

I would then make the first part of the name something that has meaning it that you can tell a story about.

It could be a personal story about you or one that gave you the inspiration to start the business.

People buy into something that's unique and different. Make your name count.

That should get your creative juices flowing hopefully.

Choosing a random name is exactly that so I would advise you avoid it.

Thanks for the reply. The reason why i am avoiding the word 'furnishing' is because i want to expand to the garment business in a year time. Therefore, the name cant be directly related to furnishings.

Easy to say
Doesn't translate into something rude/negative in another language
Unique (sorry, it's a cliche word but appropriate in this case)
Something that will still work when you grow/scale your business

if you're really stuck, for something arty you could go with the 2 word/syllable approach, where each word/syllable appear random but together fit the criteria I outline above. Examples: Crazy Egg, Hotjar, Etsy.

Once you decide on your name, only ask for feedback from people who agree to start their sentences with 'I think that works because...' or 'I don't think it works because...'. if you just ask people's opinions ('I like that, 'I prefer this') you'll go round in circles forever.
