Hello everyone.

I have a successful dessert restaurant and i am now looking to expand.

Rather than going in to the restaurant style i am thinking of going down the line of a kiosk in shopping centres. The reason for this is because of the footfall, costs as this will work out alot less comparig to setting up a restaurant, grab and go is becoming popular as people are always in a rush. i will be hopping to have seating around the kiosk. i will be offering breakfast waffles/crepes and sweet savoury waffles and crepes along with coffee and cold drinks.

I will be doing market research in the next 2 weeks.

Who and how do i contact the shopping centres and does anyone have expereince in this field that can pass on advise.

Many thanks,

The first thing to do will be to find out who owns the shopping centres that you have in mind and then contact them that way for information on how to bid for a pitch. For example, where I live, the largest shopping centre is owned by Intu - If it is a large and popular centre I would imagine costs for a pitch will be extremely expensive.
