Help with Adwords

Hi,

I have been running google adwords for my business for the last 18 months with mixed results. There have been times when it seems to have worked fine and others it has been down right disappointing. I have tried changing the wording of my ads, from broad match through to phrase and exact match and the results haven't been what i wanted.

I have been spending £2,000 a month on adwords and don't feel it is providing a cost effective return in regards to the investment i am making. I feel it is now time to get an experts help in regards to the following;

Appropriate keywords
Use of Appropriate Match Types
Writing Adword Ad Text to improve CTR
Setting conversion goals

I have looked at using the agency addpeople but looking at their reviews on the review centre they seem to leave alot to be desired. If anyone can help or recommend someone who specialises in this area and can genuinely help me, i would really appreciate it.
