Have you approached anyone from business link? They might be able to give some advice. If not, you can approach the logistics companies to find out if they have had any similar businesses who want to export nail polish.

Nail varnish is one of tne prohibited goods for Royal Mail whether it is sent abroad or within the UK.

There are specific rules on labelling and shipping hazardous good, and there are different rules for small quantities and large quantities.

You will need to find a courier that allows you to ship UN 1263 limited quantities. When I looked into this a few years ago Citylink did. The couriers will explain to you the laws on labeling and packaging hazardous items.

    Hi there,

You might find our Prohibited Items page useful, it explains what types of items are prohibited and why. If you are a business, you simply need a bespoke agreement with one of the courier networks to ship the items: http://www.p4d.co.uk/prohibited.

If we can help with a business account (for high volumes) email [email protected].

    Cheers,

    Nat
