Help Needed

Hi there

we will soon launch an online business which will include some items banned by some delivery companies like oil and vinegar (liquids).
Does anyone know a reputable company with decent price tag to handle our reputation?
Thanks in advance

Hi Mimo,

Sadly many decent carriers will not accept liquids. Others will, but they will not compensate for damaged shipments. You simply have to package your products as best you can, though no amount of packaging will protect parcels from the rough treatment they sometimes receive. Have you tried Parcelforce?

UK mail are cheaper and will accept liquids and glass, but you will not be able to claim for damage. Its understandable why they have this position, no carrier wants liquids leaking over all their other parcels. Also there is the cost of cleaning up their vans and hubs.

UK Mail? Last night I sadly saw the Despaches programme on Channel 4 where workers of UK MAil kicked and broke packages just for fun.
It was scary to watch and I recommend anyone here at this forum to check this program as it still available on You Tube and C4 catch up.
They are definitely going to lose a lot of business.
