I have launched a brand new site called The iShop and I am looking for advice on how to promote my business with not alot of money.

Your site is a zencart, have you built the googlebase module in to get onto froogle? That would be a good cheap way to get some exposure off the bat!

Are you dropshipping, or holding stock? Have you got a fan page for your site on facebook? A bit of free promotion that way, your in a competitive field so with little budget gotta think smart and outside the box to succeed

What is the googlebase module? We are using a drop shipping for the accessories and we are getting some of the other stuff from china. We have a fanpage on facebook and a buiness page on facebook - search for marketimpact on fb.

I have never done this before, this is my first time so i dont know where i can or promote for free. I do use Twitter and tell people about my products.

The googlebase module is a zencart add-on that basically allows you to put all your products on froogle/google shopping at the click of a button

How much did you spend building the website, it looks ok, but could do better, i would of suggested odesk.com it has loads of people who are experts in ecommerce & wouldn't of costed you over $300 to create a good website design with linked in payment + they have loads of people that are brill at marketing & advertising you business just sign up & create a post about marketing & advertising, usually people get back to you within 5 mins
