Thank you for reading my post.
Recently i have start my own small medium business (September 2012) and i have rent an office to run the business. Recently i found about Business Rate and i may required to make payment. I still not find any answer for my question and concern about business rate. Could you please help me on this?
the questions which i have are.
1.) Do i have to fill any form to indicate the Valuation Office Agency, soon as i start paying my office rent? or do i wait for local council to send me the bill?
2.) My company is small business and my annual rent cost would be around £6000. I read a article saying that i can fill a form for small business and if i do so i am no longer to pay the Business rate. is that correct? if so when do i have to fill this form? now or march?
