Help buying goods in UK

We are looking for someone to help us buy specific products in the UK.

I am from a Scandinavian company selling wall decor to Scandinavian consumers and some of this decor comes from the UK.

As it is very common with many foreign products, the UK manufacturers refuse to sell to us directly and refer to a local distributor, who use their position to add high profits to the products making the consumer price much higher than in the UK.

So we are looking for someone to simply buy the products in the UK and forward them to us.

Where could I find someone that can help us with that? Perhaps someone on this forum can be helpful?

May have a contract with the local distributor regarding selling in his area.

Presumably any UK company is going to buy the product, add a markup and sell them on to you?

Yes, the local distributors may have contracts - or the supplier just don't want to upset their local distributor. But there is free trade within the EU.

Presumably you plan to pay this "someone" an amount that will not be as significant as the current difference you are seeing with your distributor in scandinavia?

I'm assuming when you say specific products then these are actually manufactured in the UK and not just imported from China as the source?
