oops I just realised I have not made a formal introduction :redface:

My name is Robin and I run a small online business which deals in vintage toy restoration (basically that is a cover for being a big kid and playing with dolls all day! )

My Little Customs has only been up and running for a little over a year now and this forum has been a wealth of helpful information! I have been lurking for so long I figured it was time to bite the bullet and say hi so um hi!

Thats an interesting business that you have.

Has the volume of restoration jobs been consistant over the last few months with the continuing talk of recession?

Business has been going exceptionally well and has been growing rapidly each month so far which has been wonderful. Things have slowed a little over the last couple of weeks but I am putting that down to the start of school, busy mums, spending too much over the summer etc

I am hoping that as my line of work is very much hobby / collectors based and reasonably inexpensive that people who can no longer afford to go out will sit in and reroot a doll instead It is almost like a form of escapism and therefore hopefully I can fly under the recession radar. *touches wood*
