Hi I have an e commerce site which has been up and running fro about 2 years, I sell wool and hand knits and started out 4 years ago by selling on Facebook before moving on to etsy and folksy and finally my own website.
Business has grown nicely but i am now at the point where I am considering giving up the day job to move full time to the business and opening a bricks and mortar shop.
I have no idea how the business has grown to this point and wanted to join to pick up tips and ideas for the next big move

Welcome to the forums Christine, it seems oyu have done a great job with your current business but please look around you at whats happening with bricks and mortar shops at present. While I am all for the small business I closed 3 of mine to stay online and to keep costs down. There is rent rates and lot of other costs involved in opening a shop.

I do miss the day to day face to face public interaction which you can only get with your own shop, just be wary some people go from doing well online to bricks and mortar and then they find that things are not what they thought and of course vice versa.
