I joined yesterday looking for information and offer hosting services.

Quick intro is I work for Rapidswitch and we provide all levels of dedicated hosting to leased lines. We now supply GPU servers so looking for companies who use Nvidia servers for some feedback.

Interesting product the GPU servers, not something I've really put much thought into previously.

What are the core customers / applications for GPU servers?

Cloud gaming? Cloud rendering? Bitcoin? What others?

I wouldn't say there is a core customer base/application as it all depends on the project.

Recently we have been speaking to software developers to architects with many projects and require GPU servers for cloud rendering, complex algorithms to image recognition.

So trying to find out more sectors which use these servers and whether they find buying the workstation or leasing the hardware from a datacentre is a more effective solution for them.

Interesting stuff. You display different levels of service, but no pricing at all. I wonder if the intention is to get developer traction, to better understand the need / offering, maybe consider showing some indicative price (solutions from £ per month or GPU units from £ per hour), or maybe consider offering a developer program / £ x in trial usage type thing.

You are exactly right. Due to the requirements being so varied and really understanding the clients requirements are very important so we prefer to discuss the setup directly.

However we are currently in the process of creating a pricing calculator on the website so that will follow shortly. We do have GPU server setup ready for client trials which has shown a lot of interest.

Not something our customers have asked about, was just interested in the technology and market for it. Can't see us offering it as not sure we'd be able to add value.
