Hello from the States

Hi everyone,

I'm Kevin Lam from South Carolina (at least for now). Just thought I'd drop in and see how it's going in the UK. I hope to learn a lot from you guys. I run my own forum, but man, it gets pretty demanding to keep it alive.

I attended a brief conference in Myrtle Beach last year (either the Hilton or the Marriott, I forget which), and it was quite pleasant.

My business partner and I are both graduates of a Georgia MBA program. My degree is from Kennesaw State University and hers is from Georgia Southern University, but we worked together on most team assignments. Given that we live over 200 miles apart, we meet up only 2-3 times a year; however, we're frequently on the phone or chatting by IM.

Well, heck, that's pretty cool. I need to get me an MBA... just to have, lol. I think I'll get started on it this summer when I move back to Texas. I'll have a lot more free time when I'm there.

Yes sir,

I'm just a yellow-belly-red-neck. I was originally born in Viet Nam and moved to America when I was about 5. I was in Texas until I was 19 when I joined the Navy in 2003. My service ends this July.

Yep, still in the military and still running a business. It's tough. I've been married almost 3 years (next month), had a little girl 7 weeks ago, so that doesn't help, but she's been a blessing and so much fun... besides the flying and exploding poop, lol. Regardless, we're doing pretty well so far.
