I am Peter, my business is Driveway and Patio cleaning with my pressure washer and I provide a sealing service.
I am 56 years old and have been running Jesmond Jetclean for 3 years, my background is a bit of everything from direct sales door to door, Youth Worker, Operations Manager, Sports Development to Tour Guide and Holiday Rep.
I discovered this site when googling for tips on how to bid for commercial pressure washing contracts, 99% of my work is domestic which is great but very seasonal. I need more round the calendar work to keep me in the lifestyle to which I am accustomed.
I am surrounded by student Living Quarters with plenty of hard surfaces that need cleaning and there are the supermarkets, the council, the NHS, shopping centres, all sorts of commercial organisations that would need regular cleaning on quite a large scale. My problem is that I am not clear on how to approach these people without being fobbed off, ignored or worse?!
Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated - thanks.......
