I had a couple of referals in the first month that i started, but only got the super listing for that month, they were not cummulative.

Which i why i said if that is the case it may be better to only have one referral per month.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Anyway it's still worth doing, we have had several enquiries coming through it, and the reveiw widget is great for helping convert new customers.

When you say you got a couple of "referrals", do you mean you got people to register with FreeIndex through your referrer link? They have to join using the link provided on your super highlighted listing page.

As it says on that page:

"If you refer a business to FreeIndex, we will Super Highlight your listing and also remove any 3rd party Ads from your page for one month.

Every business you refer to FreeIndex extends your highlight period for one additional month.

The businesses you refer must sign up using the link below to get your listing highlighted. There is no other way we can confirm you have referred them."

Yes, I had two of my business contacts sign up to FreeIndex with my
Referral link, (not my review link) but only received one month of super listing.

I did at the time bring this up with freeindex, and was told that it was not cummulative, they may have changed their policy now though.

Super-highlighted is good, yes, but the most important thing is to get positive reviews on the site - it's these that are used to decide your rank. With just nine reviews BananaOffice is at the top of the listings for virtual assistant (the firm in second place only has 6).

So, get satisfied customers to put a review up of your business and then have the widget that gives you a live feed to your own website.

No problem.

Don't expect miracles from it right from the start, like anything it takes time, but I think FreeIndex is going to be a big help to BananaOffice both directly (thanks to people looking for businesses etc., on the site) and indirectly (having the "review feed" on our website for testimonials).
