I would like to ask some questions to those members who are into handicrafts business and other business minded people.

I have few questions and would appreciate a lot if you guys can throw some light on my following questions :-

Q 1) Major countries people import handicrafts from ?

Q 2) First source of contact (online or offline (trade fairs) ) ?

Q 3) Top selling handicraft items ?

Thanks for the reply. I already know about that site, off course its a good site where people can sell their hand made crafts.

What I would like to ask is, whether creating a personal website of my handicrafts and displaying various items which are manufactured by me can get me orders online ?

Are there buyers online who are looking to import handicrafts items online ?

Can a manufacturers get orders online rather than going offline ?


Please clarify my doubts..

It might help us to help you if you could be a bit more specific about what you mean by "handicrafts".

Are you hoping to import items that people buy to make their own handicrafts - i.e. hobbyists, or are you hoping to import finished items?

Are you hoping to sell to the individual or to retailers who then sell on your products.

"Handicrafts" is a very general term - tell us a bit more about your products, and yourself and we may be able to help more.
