I run a small research company which I've grown organically and I'm looking to scale.

Been a lot of blood, sweat and tears over the last 3.5 years but, hey, you learn from your mistakes.

I'm also aware of the value in learning from others' mistakes, so I look forward to learning and sharing with you all.

We do user research, so mainly things like user testing/UX consultancy on websites/apps (and some physical products). We do research throughout the whole product lifecycle, so we also do things like field studies/interviews and exploratory research, depending on the product and what stage it's at.

Essentially, we practice user-centred design so it's all about understanding user needs and working with clients to help them understand who they're designing for and build products that meet real needs (which we constantly validate/test using various methods).

Looking at your website, I'm guessing you're already familiar with UX and I'm preaching to the converted?

Yes, of course.

The usability of transactional services is so important to get right. Efficiency is a key metric in measuring usability, so such clients are much more likely to take on board our recommendations if they be equated to lost revenue etc.
