Hi everyone

I’ve started a new business in this industry at the moment I’m having trouble finding what equipment would be used to print on start up scale greeting cards

I currently design the cards myself and print with an online printer which is all good but the problem With this I must print x amount to get the best price an example would be

I’ve printed 50 designs but must order at least 10 of each

I would rather sacrifice a bit of profit margin and print my own cards I would rather have 500 blank cards where I can print on demand than 10 of each card and sell one or two

Try a local digital print outfit. Or a decent inkjet printer with a straight through paper path for heavy card. You can get hand machines for putting a crease in the card but they are surprisingly expensive. Some are a pull down lever, others are roller. Buy good quality card, not less than 250gsm. You can get oversize stock so you can trim to size with a bleed. Take them to a printer or print finisher for trimming. Small office guillotine will not do unless you want to waste a lot.
