I have a colleague with solid graphics skills looking to get some client referrals before launching a design company.
On my recommendation, they are willing to accept a handful of requests for work, which they will complete at no cost to you!
The first 5 people who respond can get a header, banner, advert, button set, icon, graphic for a blog post or website offer, etc, done for free. They're not willing to do entire website designs or big brochure projects for nothing, but will do some little jobs pro bono.

State the following information:
- URL where the graphic will appear - so they know the style and palette
- Size of the graphic - height and width
- Format - png, jpg, gif mostly
- What this graphic is intended to achieve
Once that is received, you'll get a confirmation email and then followed by images...
