Government help for small businesses.

Hi everyone

I would like to ask if anyone know any government help line for small businesses

Basically number that I can call and after explaining my situation they will be able to help me in fining for example mentor or interesting options like seminars etc which will help my business grow ?

I know that there is couple services offering similar help but i am really interested in free advice .Most of private companies saying that they giving you free advice and soon later they charge you .

What help are you looking for specifically? I understand mentor, but what other aid you looking for? Accountancy? Marketing?

Available options : grants, any government support really which will help business grow

Hello all,

I would be interested to know more about what is currently available in terms of government loans. Colleagues of mine have recently informed me about a new initiative that grants up to 2500 for small businesses, whether this is primarily focussed on young entrepreneurs ie under 30 I don't know. I can't seem to find solid evidence of this on the web.........

Anyone know anything about it?

Where are you based as it is different all over the UK. there are certainly signposting agencies out there but what is available is very much dependant on where your business is based.
