Seen plenty of people on here asking how you get facebook likes etc etc but never known of anyone ask for google+ Circles or whatever they call it, I am just about to start on it but to be honest dont like the look feel and it just seems a bit more effort to build up your profile.

Anyone got any good pointers on how to get on with this site.

Google+ is great IF you know what you are doing.

Problem is it is just too complicated for most people unless you are quite methodical and follow instructions well.

If you are prepared to read instructions and not just create a profile and think that's all there is to it, it's well worth doing.

Even that won't help you if your target audience is not as dedicated to the Google+ course. I don't know anyone that uses it, I just don't think the is a place for it. It's failed to knock Facebook and now Facebook have loads of cash so Google+ has no future as it is.

Most important thing is to have the g+ (Google+) button on every page of your website and the +1 button on each of your products as well of course your FaceBook, Twitter and maybe Pinterest buttons. Then you give your site visitors the opportunity to 'like you' / 'follow you' using their social networking preferences.

With no disrespect, and I appreciate your answer but I have never been into this type of thing, "You Like me And I will Like you" just like Facebook when people say add your friends to your business page and get them to add their friends...to me that is a pointless excercise you end up with a page full of people who are not one bit bothered or interested in your business or page and you will end up being unsubscribed..so you may have 100 likes but no one is reading the posts you put up.

Would much prefer to put a little more time in and get people related to the business and people who will interact and share what I have to say...sorry

That is the impression I get it is a pain in the arse, will have to have a read up and play tomorrow, I dont want to dismiss the link from my site I dont want the great ayatollah that is google to say right you dropped me I drop you 3 pages :O)

I don't know anyone that uses it, I just don't think the is a place for it. .

Errrmmm maybe you have a point...just looking at webstores post about the Google/European Commission and if you look its been shared on twitter, a few to facebook...drum roll.....none to Google+

working on Google plus is really worth . It is a good social networking site. But many people use Facebook so they dont know more about google plus. But using google plus you can reach the audience.
