There is a lot of noise about Google 'lying' but they have been spouting misinfomration for years. The documents aren't that interesting as many of the attributes were already part of the many patents Google has published.

And an awful lot of the attributes do exactly as you would expect them to do.

There are going to be lots of SEO experts claiming they now know the secret to ranking top of Google. They don't. All they might do is sniff out a few minor tweaks that may or may not have a significant impact.
