Google Plus Invites - Open to everyone?

I've just managed to finally get into Google Plus.
Is it open to everyone now, or only select people?

Does anyone need/want an invite?

Thanks for my invite Jewell10.... been trying and wanting to get on for a couple of weeks....as soon as you sent me an invite it worked instantly.

If anyone else wants in I'm also happy to send an invite.

I'm not sure what's going on with Google Plus at the moment. I have an account and have tried to invite a couple of people. One recieved their invited a couple of days later and the other person is yet to recieve the invite I sent (some two weeks later!) has anybody else had this problem?

I'm waiting for their business pages to be launched. They've suspended the application form for now unfortunately.

seems like it doesn't work for google apps - I've got a personal account anyway which works fine - quite like it in fact... I've been told that people clicking the google+1 on search results will effect rankings. Any one else have thoughts on this?

It really annoys me that it isn't available for people who PAY to use their Google Apps for Business. I would have thought this would have been the first place it would have been live as if businesses can't get on to do marketing then they are missing out.

Yeah - they haven't quite got the switching accounts side of things up and running properly yet either! Switching from an apps account to personal account is very awkward!

I'd say it's probably worth having a business email and personal email in gmail.. at the same time I'm getting inundated with social accounts here there and everywhere!

@ Charlottery - any ideas what the business pages will involve? - is this something different again from pages? ... another account to set up
