Hi
I have two business I have listed on Google maps, however they have merged the two into one listing.
I have reported the problem to google many times but they never resolved it!! Its prooving a task to contact google to try and sort this.
I believe the reason for the two merging together is because of the address. Does anyone know how I can get this resolved as it is looking rather un-professional with this current listing.

When you say 2 businesses, do you mean 2 completely different businesses? Can you give some more information. You can remove the listing by claiming it, that will give you access to it pretty quickly, while you sort the mess out.

Setup them both up on two different Google accounts. That might fix it.

Setup them both up on two different Google accounts. That might fix it.

I have set these up with separate google accounts, reading up on it I am sure its to do with the address details etc

If both businesses have the same (physical) address (same account will not help) that is why they are merging the two.

That's what's doing it. Apparently it's their main ranking criteria (WTF I don't get that either but hey)

It happend to me, i over tweaked mine and then added other business etc then it merged and then i punched my self.

It can even be the same phone number on the listing that causes problems.

I know - its so annoying and if potential customer come across our listing we look like Idiots!
