Yeah I use Google Apps. Just signup a personal Google account.

imagine facebook, hotmail, chat rooms, networking site all in one place with google behind it it is going to be fantastic in my opinion

everything will be accessible from your browser and to your android phone and all easily used from your pc

Yeah I thought it may end up being good and i have a couple of circles but I am very technologically challenged so it takes a while for the penny to drop...

So, I am in there but not hanging out there yet. Thanks for the description.

It's kinda like Twitter and Facebook all in one. People who follow you by adding you to a circle don't have to be followed by you. Likewise you can follow people who don't follow you back. Then, when you post you choose exactly who sees everything.

just looking at some of the features as i have just got on thanks to lmartin87
it looks like it will try and get you to interact with friends and groups through video camera, it may have the best of facebook. linkedin and over site. hopefully

It takes time to get used to it, but you can use G+ as a replacement to facebook and twitter logins, in other words from your dashboard you can in theory do it all from there without having to go to facebook or twitter to read and post statuses or messages.
