Hi all

Just a quick query, as i don't entirely understand it. In Google.co.uk, you have the option of searching the 'web' or searching pages from the UK. Now what is the difference between them, as i thought google.co.uk was more UK specific anyway?

UK results will tend to place sites from the UK first, above sites that are for example, in the US, wordwide will not give British no sites preference.

The results here are the combination of websites from UK and the other websites that targets UK that were indexed by Google's data center in UK.

pages from the UK

The results here are websites that were UK based.

Ah so, 'the web' could be websites that are based outside UK eg USA based?

Yes.. US based websites but targets UK.
