Google Apps Alternative?

Well since the Google Apps Free option has gone what have people been using to manage their domains email? I only need something that offers "Push" support but want to get opinions from others.

For the last few days I have been using Outlook.com and it works great on my iPhone 5S (iOS 7) and the web interface looks very clean, infact I really like it. I use an Ad-Block plugin which makes the interface spotless.

Anyway after a few days I found a major problem with the IMAP service when using along with the default OS X Mail App. When you delete a message in the Mail App it does not delete it the server end. This is while using the settings from the Outlook.com website. After allot of searching around the web this seems to be a known problem and they are "working" on a fix for it.

So this is Google and Outlook.com both out the running. Is there any other FREE services I can use to manage my domains email?

Looks like they don't offer Push email with the basic account

Seems to be a very confusing site, I found this blog post on there:

Zoho Sync is available only to users in the Standard 15GB Zoho Mail Suite paid plan.

Also this doesn't sound so good:

2. Emails deleted from Templates/ Draft/ Spam/ Trash folders in mobile will not be deleted in the mail server.

Sounds like a the same problems/limits outlook.com has, am I missing something?

I have been using Rackspace for their email for the last 5+ years, no major problems especially for the last 3+ - rackspace.com/email-hosting/

Well it looks like Outlook.com are aware of the problem, I had a reply from their forums:

They say its going to be fixed so I may just stick it out using iOS and Web Interface until its sorted.

The web interface is good and working perfect on iOS and its free!

You've probably spend more time faffing about trying to find a free (right now) service, than just buying email hosting

Do you really need 'push' notifications (it's only really IMAP leaving the connection idle) ?

I'm not sure what it is but I love knowing my emails will be received straight after they have been sent rather than waiting X amounts of minutes

Will leave it a few weeks to see if Outlook.com gets their little kinks worked out, if not will switch to a paid Google Apps acount I gues
