Does anyone know how Sainsbury’s is doing as a business? I've been in three separate stores over the last year or so and they just seem so dated and old. Even the newer store (just a few years old) looked dated and old inside with sluggish old self-checkouts etc.
I've noticed they've started opening Starbucks within them which also strikes me as odd... as most of the customers I see in Sainsbury's are always of the older generation and Starbucks doesn't seem to align with their clientele. I told my Granddad how much a small coffee was and he very nearly swore.
