Good Business Slogans and Quotes

I often think that a clever quote can help you to market your product or service. It can be a good way of reinforcing a message.

For example in another thread SteveGibson said...

As Red Adair used to say, "if you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur."

One of my favourites was attributed to a Black and Decker executive a few years ago...

"Our customers don't need drills, what they need is holes."

some slogans come across awful and the red adair one is a perfect example for me. Its a kind of smug and snotty poke at the competition which doesnt come across well at all IMO

I suppose it's objective but I actually I like the Red Adair quote.

We often get into discussions in here about professional v amateur (or DIY) and this sums it up perfectly AFAIAC. It's a bit like saying "If you pay peanuts you get monkeys."

I think the one from Black and Decker is a good example too because it makes people think about the main objective and rams the point home.

haha thats why i love it. if you miss just 1 payment on your gym membership he transfers the dept to a collection agency. Do as I say not as I do.

I was once read of a scaffolding company that had to chage their slogan, "We get erect quicker! "
other slogans by caffolding companies; "Quality Erections!"
xyz scaffolding-for the best erection in town!
