Wont complicate my question.

I'm moving in with partner I am the sole operator employee of a Ltd Company.

If I want to pay her something every month is there an effective way to do it besides employing her directly?

Talking about 500 a month.

I have seen that I could treat her as a contractor?
She would then have responsibility of tax implications is that correct.

Looking for smoothest way withought compliationzs, breaking the law. Or tax, ni liability for the company.

HMRC do not like businesses paying people as sole traders when they should be employees. I presume she will provide some service to the company apart from letting you live in her accomodation?

Thanks so far, I'm not looking to have her as an employee. Not enough work for that.

Guess my only option is to pay her from my personal account. She would only be doing occasional work. Covering phone, post etc.

Guess she could invoice me for agreed amount of worth per work done and I pay it from business. Or speak to my accountant... thanks just wondered if there were options before I discussed it with him.

Its not your decision about what to have her as.

Employee can be zero hours contract. Can be an hour a week. Can be whatever - but they are an employee.

Look, if you want to give her money then simply give her money out of your personal account from your net income.
If you want her involved in the business then figure out what she is legally. Which you prefer doesn't come into it.
