Hi all

i am in need of a little help/advice

if i can just explain where i am at the moment:
LTD Company registered in the UK & Wales
VAT Registered.
IP Phone (vonage)

aiming to start a company from my (mothers house) at the moment, the problem is the companies that i am wanting to buy from (IT Hardware) require that i provide utility bills,

now all the bills are of course in my mothers name not the companies name (however same address)
all i have is a few invoices from vonage showing a montly subscription to a £9 a month VOIP Service

i am looking for a cash with order account so there is little risk from their point of view, im not looking for 30 days credit

how would you approach this problem? is there a chance they will except the utility bills in my mothers name..even if she isn't named as part of the company on companies house?

some people might say "just try it and see?" however i do not want to make a fool of myself and you only tend to get one chance at these applications as far as i know

hope that is clear, any help would be greatly appreciated,

thanks

I would use a virtual address where you can get all your mail sent to and then redirected to your/mothers house.

Also most virtual address companies allow you to also have your director address there to save you using your personal address.

I have a ltd company and use a virtual address for all company needs. Also open a business bank account to that address and use that as proof of address etc.

Hi denby, Just to make you aware if you do look to use a virtual address they will still require a proof of address and certified ID as it is something your provider will be required to hold. There are a number of providers that can offer such services but it will depend on the location you are looking for. Search on Google 'Virtual addresses in .......' and multiple results will come up, just make sure their charges are as clear and transparent as they look. I hope this helps- any questions just let me know.
